[ninf-users:00112] Re: ng-2.4 problem with globus

The globus support on Rocks 3.3 is fairly limited, and we've had problems compiling the newer ninf-g releases on it.

Rocks 4.1 will be released next week and this will include an updated Grid Roll based on GT4. We will also be releasing a Ninf-G Roll prior to SC'04 (early november). If you want Ninf-G on Rocks 3.3 I suggest installing your own version of Globus first, or if you can delay this for a week or so and we will have everything you need already completed. Thanks.

Dear sir,

I'm a newbie to ninf-g. I just installed rocks 3.3
with globus in our cluster. Now, I need to install
ninf-g 2.4. But when I installed, it cannot configure.
This is the error:

[root@hawk ng-2.4.0]# ./configure
creating cache ./config.cache
globusflags.in: error:
/opt/nmi/bin/globus-makefile-header failed.
Can't find Globus I/O libraries configuration from
Globus. exit.
[root@hawk ng-2.4.0]#

Thank a lot.
