Jon,

I guess you don't have 'gcc32dbgpthr' flavor installed on your machine,
that is assumed as a default flavor in the configure script.

could you check out the installed flavor(s) on your system and
specify the flavor with the configure option:
' --with-globusFlavor=FLAVOR '.
