NAME
GRPC_INVOKE_ASYNC_NP
- Executes an RPC.

ARGUMENTS
INTEGER(KIND=8) HANDLE
- The object handle
CHARACTER(*) METHDO_NAME(*)
- The method name

- Arguments to be passed to the function called by RPC
DESCRIPTION
The GRPC_INVOKE_ASYNC_NP() function calls the method defined by the object handle.
The GRPC_INVOKE_ASYNC_NP() function does not wait for the called method to complete execution.
This function is MT-safe.
LIMITATION ONLY OF FORTRAN API
Fortran Client API has the below limitations.
- "out" and "inout" type string arguments must not be used as RPC arguments.
- An array argument of string and filename must not be used as an RPC argument.
- It is necessary to append "()" to the end of METHDO_NAME argument.
RETURN VALUE
If successful, GRPC_NO_ERROR is returned. In the case of an error, Error code is returned.
ERRORS
GRPC_NOT_INITIALIZED
- GRPC client is not initialized yet.
GRPC_SERVER_NOT_FOUND
- GRPC client cannot find the specified server.
GRPC_FUNCTION_NOT_FOUND
- GRPC client cannot find the function on the specified server.
GRPC_INVALID_FUNCTION_HANDLE
- Function handle specified by handle is invalid.
GRPC_RPC_REFUSED
- RPC invocation was refused by the server, possibly because of a security issue.
GRPC_COMMUNICATION_FAILED
- Communication with the server failed somehow.
GRPC_TIMEOUT_NP
- Timeout occurred in session.
GRPC_OTHER_ERROR_CODE
- Internal error detected.
